Educational programmes are essentially different with from ‘training programmes’.

Training is usually concerned with imparting a specific skill or attitude. Education is a wider & more open process of learning in which general personal development (including reasoning and judgement) occurs.

The results of a broadly based education process are not predictable as individuals apply their acquired knowledge & understandings to situations they encounter.
